Evangelist Timika Terry-Cabbler is a well-respected and phenomenal woman of God. She has served as a spiritual leader in her community and church family for the last fifteen years. The biblical knowledge and wisdom she has acquired and shares has become life-altering to those who cross her path. Timika Terry-Cabbler was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. She is the daughter of Bishop Frank and First Lady Kathy English. She is married to Scott Terry-Cabbler, also of Roanoke, and is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter, Jordin. Even in her youth, Timika has always had a passion and desire to know and learn more about the Lord. She was baptized and accepted the Lord into her life at a very young age. Although she accepted the call to preach later as a young adult, as a child she was teaching and preaching the Word of God to her family and friends.
Timika graduated from William Byrd High School and from there she attended and graduated from Virginia Western Community College with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Through her zeal to know more about the word of God she always studied to show herself approved. In the summer of 2007, Timika graduated from Liberty University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion. In 2012, she graduated from seminary and received a Master of Arts Degree in Religion; specializing in Biblical Studies. Prior to accepting her call to the ministry, Timika began employment at Allstate Insurance Company, where she’s been a faithful employee for eighteen years.
Timika’s strong leadership has proven itself throughout her entire life. She’s always had the ability and influence to guide and empower individuals. Her love for God and her compassion for the well being of all people are visible to anyone who comes in contact with her. It’s evident that the Lord has chosen her and anointed her to preach good tidings.
Timika is currently a member of New Life Christian Fellowship where she teaches Bible Study, stands as a mentor to the ministers and other members of the church and serves as the Worship Leader. In 2007, Timika was licensed as the National Evangelist for Positive Impact Ministries, Inc. under the leadership of Apostle Samuel English. In her efforts to impact others she organized a Youth Unity Conference titled, Take Hold of Your Destiny. Evangelist English is truly a powerful woman of God. Her vision is unification among all believers. Her mission is to bring about positive change and a mind transformation to the body of Christ by ministering the knowledge of God’s truth.
